Day 19 - VIVA LAS VEGAS!

So I am now happily married to my best friend, we got married in Vegas and I wore a huge tie that said "Kiss me!" on it, she wore a really old veil that was quite complicated to put on.
Elvis married us and we got our picture taken in front of a wall covered in playing cards, it was called the Tupper wedding chapel...oh, did I mention this was during lunch at my
school, and that it's not actually a marriage? Well it was ;) Anyways people said that Romantic Ralph was delicious, he was a big hit with my friends at school and even though no one wanted to buy him, he was fun to
make and fun to eat too!
And now to Kelly McIntosh about her day:
I am still not feeling so well, all stuffy, sore throat, can't concentrate so I hope I'm better by tomorrow cause that's my faj's birthday! (Faj means father, GOSH HAVEN'T YOU EVER SEEN AUSTIN POWERS?) Shout out to my mother (Wendy the awesome) Pistachio [My bestest friend :) other than Annie] Miss Haapakoski (Amy - my other best friend :D ) and Jarvis (Ezekial/Princess Zeke Zeke/Shamus or Isaac another one of my best friends :D ) so to all of them, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :D and to all of
you too, but them more specifically :D Lately I have been really inspire by like everything to make dinosaurs our of :D but for some I
will have to buy some materials >:} they will be awesome!!! Today at yoga we relax and the beginning and at the end and pretty much the whole time I was there I was thinking about fighting dragons with my awesome flaming and enchanted sword - Enchantress Felicia Awesomeness of Death Crown.

This is what I was thinking when she told us to go to our happy places [(YI=yoga instructor) all of what I say occurred in my head]:
YI: Notice the colours,
me: Greens, browns, greys, red... Red? oh right blood, and darkness *looking around th
e huge clearing in the trees in front of the cave*
YI: notice the smells,
me: *Inhales deeply*Death, burnt & rotting flesh, dragon poop, dragon...*coughs*
YI: Notice the temperature
me: This is uncomfortably warm... *looks towards the cave where I can see the outline of the great beast*

Dragon: RAAAWR! *breathes fire at me*
me: *Awesomely ninja jumps out of the way* ---side note: haven't I done this before?---*lures dragon away from the cave entrance*
Dragon: RAAAWR! *lunges at me while breathing fire*
me: *Runs super fast and gets away from the fire then climbs extremely tall tree extremely fast*
Dragon: RAAAWR! *Approaches tree*

Anyways I'm going to go to bed so I can be rid of this horrid cold.
And then Yoga was over so I never actually rode the dragon or anything... :(me: RAAAAWR TO YOU TOO!! *Jumps out of tree and lands on dragon's back like the super awesome ninja I am*
Stay Classy my Friends!

Day 8 - "Pass me the Scalpel."

FOR NARNIAAA!!! I really want to learn fencing, it would be soooo cool! a totally useless talent but cool none the less. I could use my fencing/sword fighting skills to defeat dragons and dinosaurs and then get the guy. I just wanted to let you know that the poll on the side is only letting me decide which dinosaur I am making first, obviously the snow sculpture is going to be first (5:1:1:1) unless people start voting like crazy. Today's dinosaur is going to be sent to my Uncle Skip (he just had knee surgery), my mom gave me the idea of a dinosaur doctor standing over the operating table saying "We can rebuild him" from the old show The Six Million Dollar Man. I thought that it was a great idea and after some very imaginative planning in my head I started to work, the only thing that I changed was the operating table - by not including it (currently the card is not completely finished because I might add a speech bubble around the words or something...). I introduced 1 more person to the awesomeness of the show none other than...Cowboy Bebop! Such a freaking awesome show, it's my background and my screensaver ;) I absolutely love it : <3 I got a letter today :) It was from my aunt, she was replying to the one I sent her after Christmas, I know that she agrees it will be a sad day when everyone stops writing letters entirely, they are such a great way of communicating! Imagine:
It a time way back before computers and the internet, and possibly even before telephones! You write a letter to your boyfriend, handwritten on fancy paper, in a little white envelope with a stamp in the corner(and maybe a spritz of perfume and a lipstick kiss mark) and send it off, for weeks you check the mailbox everyday and then suddenly you receive a letter from your lover! You quickly run into the house and grab your cool little mini-sword letter opener and tear open the envelope, only to find a perfectly pressed rose and a letter telling you that he is coming to see you! You look at the date that he is to arrive home.... that day is today! Surprisingly you look up only to see him standing in the doorway holding a box of chocolates and a couple of perfect red roses...
Wouldn't that just be so romantic? I wish things like that still happened rather than people just texting "ilu :)" or "luv u <3" which not surprisingly make me kind of sad. Sometimes I really wish I could time travel... oh well that's what a super huge & awesome imagination is for :D half the time I day dream about what it would be like to live in Victorian era Britain or like the early 1900s or just live in any time period other than this one...
Have an AWESOME day :)

Day 6 - Unfinished Business

I am so happy that I am finished exams! So today I started a dinosaur (Thanks to my friend Pistachio :P ) and am sad to say that it will not be finished today so you will have to wait until tomorrow. I have been reading the Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, IT IS SUPER AWESOME! I would recommend it to anyone who like fantasy novels which also may have partly inspired yesterday's dinosaur as well. When I read the back flap that said it was set in Victorian Britain, I completely fell in love with the book. Today's dinosaur is Robert, my volleyball team's mascot - which I created and drew :D I first drew him on one of the volleyballs we use for practicing and he is also our good luck charm! This is the painting of Robert that will be going on our warm up jerseys and rip-off pants. Anyways keep being awesome and check in tomorrow of a (hopefully) awesome new dinosaur!

Day 1 - The Start

Hi. My name's Kelly and I like to draw dinosaurs. It has been an (almost) obsession of mine for the past year. I can't even remember how it started but it did somehow. I have heard of people doing 365 projects and I didn't think that I could complete one. I tried it out, but I used too broad of a subject.... Drawing. Draw anything! I said to myself but nooo, it just doesn't work like that. I didn't keep it up (obviously), it fell through maybe 2 weeks into the journey. Today I have decided to try it again, think of it as something I must do everyday. For the next THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE DAYS I will make a dinosaur everyday - draw, bake, paint, sculpt, you name it I WILL complete this task. Since I charged myself with this task I have decided to create this blog to keep track, everyday I will update this blog with a picture or scan of that day's dinosaur and by January 27, 2013 (If we haven't all died yet) I will have created 365 dinosaurs to share with you. Here is today's dinosaur Crazy eyed Fred the cupcake dinosaur. (He is crazy eyed because he can't believe that he is on a CUPCAKE! oh and BTW its a vanilla cupcake :D )

AND REMEMBER: A Dinosaur a day keeps the doctor away! Mostly because he is probably afraid of him.... I mean come on, who in their right mind would approach someone with a dinosaur, much less 365?!
